The Red Lodge area is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. World class fishing, downhill skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and golf are all just minutes from the Pollard. Red Lodge is at an elevation of 5500 feet. We are high enough for mountain activities, but less taxing than other mountain locations.

The climate in the spring and autumn is warm during the day and cool at higher elevations and in the evenings. During the summer, it is typically hot and dry, cooling off toward evening. Sweaters and jackets come in handy. Layering is key in Red Lodge. We suggest a windbreaker, too. Be prepared for sudden weather changes even in summer, particularly at higher elevations. In the winter, while there can be periods of cold, we are usually blessed with sunshine and a dusting of fresh snow
at night. Please see links below.
